BIOGRAPHY
STEPHEN H. GORDON is a native Texan, who grew up in the Houston and San Antonio area. He graduated from University
of Texas at San Antonio with a degree in Psychology and Political Science. He then attended St. Mary's University School of Law, where
he received a number of academic awards and graduated in the top 10% of his class.
While at St. Mary's, he honed his research and writing skills by serving on the St. Mary's Law Journal, first as a Staff Writer, and later as a member of the Editorial Board. His article on the topic of international law was selected for publication in the law journal during his second year. He also sharpened his advocacy skills by participating in the school's Moot Court program. Midway through his schooling he served as an intern for the Fourth Court of Appeals.
Upon graduation, he worked with a number of attorneys on various research projects, helping prepare
motions and appellate briefs. Shortly thereafter, he began his own solo practice, focusing mainly on family law and criminal law,
and eventually branching out into the fields of personal injury, wills and estates and bankruptcy. He is currently a member of the
San Antonio Bar Association, and licensed to practice before all courts in the State of Texas and federal courts in the Western District
of Texas.
